At the conclusion of National Literacy Month, we spotlight Ms. Anna Pierce, who teaches both English and U.S. History at Fairfield Junior High. Ms. Pierce has been with us for four years. She enjoys photography, scrapbooking, reading, attending Ballet West, and spending time with her daughter and granddaughter. She loves getting to know her students and sharing history and English content with them. We are so glad to have Ms. Pierce here at Fairfield Junior High with us!

As we continue our celebration of National Literacy Month, we spotlight Mrs. Heather Hughes, who has helped the Fairfield Junior High English department to shine for the last 28 years. Outside of school, Mrs. Hughes loves to run, read, travel, and (most importantly) entertain her grandchildren. Her passion for teaching is ignited by the insights students have while learning, and by students' unique personalities that develop throughout the year. This year, she is looking forward to watching students get excited about reading, and to helping students set reading goals to help them with their life goals. We are truly fortunate to have Mrs. Hughes as a part of our Fairfield Falcon Family.

Yesterday the ladies gave another defeat on our season to Bountiful Jr. We are still undefeated, with our record of 6-0.
